"Are you sure your grandmother wants me to come to this thing?"

"For the hundredth time, Isaac, she invited you. She told me to bring you."

Isaac rubbed his hands together in his lap as he watched out the front window of

the car. He shook his head. "She does know I'm a demon, right?"

"She knows, pretty."

"And she still invited me?"

"I told you, Grandmother wants to meet you before we have our binding

ceremony on the full moon." Jory reached over and patted Isaac's leg. "She accepts us, accepts you. She couldn't be happier for us."

"I don't think the rest of your family feels the same way." Isaac snorted. "You didn't see the looks your uncle Roland gave me when he came to pick up Desmond. I

don't think he likes me at all."

"Uncle Roland doesn't like anyone."

"Perfect."

"Relax, pretty, I like you, and that’s all that counts."

Isaac just about melted. He hated that Jory seemed to have that power over him.

It was nothing like the power he had over Isaac's demon form. No, this was much

worse.

Jory just had to say something sappy, and Isaac melted all over the place, ready

to please the guy in any manner he wanted. A week of eagerly letting Jory fuck him

proved that. Isaac was actually a little embarrassed by how much he liked it now that

he'd tried it. He had even initiated it on a few occasions.

All the demons in the demon club would be laughing their asses off if they knew

"You know I'm dragging you to my mother's house when we leave here, right?"

Jory looked startled as he glanced over at him. "Are you really sure you want to

do that? How is she going to feel about you being with a vampire?"

Isaac chuckled. "I imagine she will feel about like I do . . . ."

Jory arched an eyebrow in query.

"Bewitched, enchanted, and damn glad I chose the right blood sacrifice."
